THE AUTHOR

Sherrie A. Madia, Ph.D. is an educator, author, and communications coach. She is the author of the children’s book Alphabet Woof! (2009) about a dog called Moxy who eats magic soup and learns to talk (Available in English and Spanish).

In 2011, she released Bumblelina, about a bee who wants desperately to fly and learns the importance or trying until you succeed. Bumblelina is a 2011 winner of the “Parent-Tested, Parent-Approved” award. The book is the first in a series of values-based books for young readers, based on topics including friendship, honesty, the environment, sharing, and doing the right thing.

Her recent books on the business of communicating include The Social Media Survival Guide (English and Spanish editions), The Online Job Search Survival Guide, The Social Medial Survival Guide for Nonprofits and Charitable Organizations, and S.E.R.I.A.L.PRENEURSHIP: The Secrets of Repeatable Business Success.

Her most important job is being a mommy. Daughters Emma and Anna remind her every day of what’s really important.
